The Stone House

The Stone House is set above the village of Kalkan, and from every aspect offers sweeping views across the bay of Kalkan and its islands to the front and mountain views to the rear.  The villa is decorated with a mix of traditional features and contemporary designs.  Hand-made wrought iron furniture is complimented by travertine marble flooring throughout.  Mosaic details, vaulted ceilings, kilims and hand-blown glass mirrors provide a classically modern feel. 

The villa comprises 3 double air-conditioned bedrooms: one double and two twin rooms.  A chairbed in the master bedroom and a baby dan travel cot are also provided. 

Upstairs the villa boasts vaulted ceilings - with the master bedroom housing a double four poster bed, with sea and island views and feature fireplace.  The second twin bedroom has its own private roof terrace, and the third twin bedroom, also with sea and island views, is sited downstairs with double doors leading to the pool terrace. 

There is a fully and extensively equipped kitchen, leading to a separate lounge (with fans) and feature fireplace.  Double doors off the lounge lead directly to a shaded seating area and a further shaded dining area.  There are two wc/shower rooms.

A private pool, extensive patio area, and garden overlook the sea and two islands within Kalkan Bay, making this the perfect spot for relaxation.

Outside Sitting Area: (located immediately off the lounge): 2 hand-made wrought iron sofas, travertine coffee table, sited within a fabric covered and curtained pergola allowing for additional shade

Shaded Dining Table: (located directly outside the kitchen): hand-made iron, travertine and marble dining table, seating 6 – 8 overlooking the sea.  A power point is located here.

Patio Area: overlooking small garden planted with palms and to the sea and islands beyond.  Outside shower area to the side of the villa, 6 sunloungers, shaded hammock area, one 4m fixed metal umbrella.

Lounge: 2 ceiling fans, 2 wrought iron sofas, glass coffee table, feature fireplace with  hand-made glass portrait above, CD & Ipod player, tape/radio cassette recorder,  DVD TV, selection of books, small selection of games, round wooden table with  stools.

Leading to Kitchen: fully equipped, large fridge/freezer, water cooling machine, full sized electric oven/hob, dishwasher, plates, cutlery, glassware, picnic coolbag, cooking utensils, children’s cutlery and plates. 

Downstairs Bedroom 3: 2 wrought iron twin beds (when pushed together complete the design running throughout the villa), air conditioning, mosquito nets, wardrobe, dressing table, handblown glass mirror.  Double doors lead directly to pool terrace.  Overlooks the pool and beyond to the bay and islands. 

Downstairs WC: walk in travertine mosaic tiled shower area, sink, toilet.

Master Bedroom: vaulted ceilings, wrought-iron four poster bed, air conditioning and mosquito nets, glass and iron bedside tables, mosaic dressing table, hand blown decorative mirrors, feature fireplace, large wardrobe.  Hair dryer, safe, chairbed and sea and island views.

Bedroom 2: vaulted ceilings, 2 iron twin beds, air conditioning and mosquito nets, small dressing table, wardrobe, decorate glass mirror, hairdryer.  Leads to:

Private Roof Terrace: with fabric covered pergola.  Stunning sea and island views overlooking Kalkan bay, small round table and chairs.
All flooring upstairs is terracotta.

Family Shower Room: vaulted ceilings, washing machine, boiler, cupboard, sink, toilet, walk in shower.  Travertine flooring and walls.

** A car is recommended.  Although the town is a 5 – 10 minute walk, the gradient and terrain make this a challenging journey on foot **
